Proactive attitude, an ability to listen actively and non-antagonistic communication skills.
What is your background?
Since I was a child I’ve been acquiring knowledge from different fields of science and this resulted in my wide scope of interests today. I studied European studies at the University of Warsaw (BA) - which gave general understanding of European Economic Law, economics and social tendencies in Europe - and also Management at Warsaw School of Economics (MA), with specialty in Strategic Management.
What do you like to read?
I like to read books on business, economics, management, social theories as also travel reportages. I also find reading biographies very inspiring. When it comes to searching for new positions to read, I’m trying to make these choices the way that will let me get an interdisciplinary knowledge, easy to implement in practice. I highly appreciate Michael Porter’s work on strategic management and competitiveness and breath-taking notes of polish globe explorer, Jacek Pałkiewicz.
What do you admire in others?
Beside many other attributes, I admire people’s willingness to break the status quo, the desire to break the limits, to learn new skills and to empower others by giving a positive example.
