How would you describe your role at Sunscrapers?
Simply. I write Python.
What was your impression after a week at Sunscrapers?
The Sunscrapers team struct me as almost suspiciously friendly and nice. The online discussion was full of smiles, waves and encouragements. The office felt home-like. There was a paradoxical feeling of complete lack of formality combined with a great deal of competence.
What is your background?
My life choices changed drastically several times. I tried to be a biotechnologist, and then a monk. Ultimately I became a Python programmer, which hopefully will be my life career.
What have you found exciting recently?
Language. Natural and constructed languages fascinate me as much as programming ones. The way that thought gets encoded into words so it can be shared and become reality is magical for me.
What do you admire in others?
Creativity. The fact that people can create things that I would never come up with. The field of the creative work is not as important to me as being original.
